At the Sandvik Coromant CIO Office, one of our main responsibilities is to enable strategy execution. We're now looking for a Digital Security Lead to join us, with the mission of driving the digital development and strengthening our ability to execute on our strategy. So, what's this job all about?
In this role, you're one of the key persons for us to succeed on our digital journey. You're responsible for driving digital security compliance together with the Sandvik cybersecurity community and providing subject matter expertise to both the IT and business community. You're also responsible for analyzing our current state, setting, and implementing a strategy and governance in the security area within Sandvik Coromant. You act as a gateway to the wider organization within IT Security and lead a virtual governance within Sandvik Coromant in our decentralized organization. Furthermore, you ensure a systematic way to address digital security issues, identifying gaps and taking necessary actions to make sure Sandvik Coromant are in line with best practices as well as the Sandvik security strategy.
Through this role we aim to influence a culture change resulting in a shift-left and security-by-design movement by building relationships with development teams, security teams and business stakeholders. You lead the virtual community of security champions to set security metrics, improve application security training, enable development of security testing and implement consistent secure coding practices. What more do we expect of you?
Hands on experience within security is needed to be successful in this position, ideally from working in a larger global organizations. A relevant education is of course handy, and you feel comfortable around commonly used security frameworks and methodologies such as DevSecOps. You take an enterprise-wide approach and, with a positive and proactive style, you build trust and long term relationships. Working in a global setting, you're also a skilled communicator in English - verbally, in writing and presentation wise.
Your character is what really matters! You don't have to be a software development nerd, but you need a true talent for stakeholder management on all levels. You're proactive and open to new ideas and concepts, and don't hesitate to try them out. On the other side, you dare to make decisions even if not certain. Also, you enjoy acting in an ever-changing setting where pace and commitment varies, and you're good at getting everyone on the right track to reach the targets.
