The Product Information Management department leverages digital product information to improve internal processes and differentiate our customer offer. We ensure that relevant, correct and complete information is available to our customers, partners and internal users. Our responsibilities range from processes and platforms to information models, structures and classifications, and include development of the industry standard for exchange of product information.
Our industry is quickly becoming more digitalized and automated, and the need for correct and adequate product data is one of the corner stones in the digital journey we have ahead of us - often referred to as Industry 4.0. Therefore, we are now offering an exciting position as Digital Product Information Specialist, with great potential for someone who wants to develop a key role in the digitalization of Sandvik Coromant.
Key performance areas
We are a team of specialist with broad competency, working with product information of our physical products. As Digital Product Information Specialist, you focus on our digital products and offers, such as intelligent tools, digital solutions and services. You ensure that the required information is specified and structured to support the order to delivery process, certification and compliance, license and entitlement among other prerequisites needed for our business. Another part of your job is to ensure information consistency across the landscape of all our tools and digital products and that the product lifecycle management and processes are specified and developed to support our digital products.
We are looking for someone with a degree in General Engineering or Business Administration, or someone who has equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience. Knowledge of Business modelling or Information Architecture is beneficial, as is experience form working with requirement analyses and translating requirements to IT solutions. You have a holistic point of view regarding architecture, and preferably experience from one of the areas Product Lifecycle Management, configuration management, software and services for digital solutions, master data management, information management or information architecture. Since we operate in both local and global settings, you have good skills in verbal and written English and Swedish.
