Let us describe the challenge we offer

The Digital Partners Liaison Officer is part of the Strategy team within the Digital Strategy & Transformation domain. The domain is primarily focused on improving effect and efficiency in the Digital organization by both strategic directions, transformation and supporting efficient operations. This is a critical role to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between Polestar and its digital partners, both consultancy partners and industrial partners Volvo Cars and Geely. The role proactively improves top management relationships, all communication, and coordinates activities to maximize the value for Polestar, looking at both effect and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role you will be responsible for building our Digital 's Partnership strategy and builds a great collaboration with the buyers in Polestar Procurement department so we together can get the best value from our Partners.

You will be accountable for:

• Ensuring adequate onboarding of new partnerships (internally at Polestar and at partner side to energize the best talent) to maximize partnership value
• Responsible for preparation work and prioritization process of Polestars change-requests to industrial partners ' digital product teams
• Project lead larger staffing requests to consultancy partners and keep track of status on all resource requests
• Conduct regular evaluation and analysis over the health of the relationship and that the expectation of the relationship is met
• Quickly identify problem areas and take actions to mitigate and resolve issues, including reporting and escalations
• Define KPI:s and track progress and keep documented log on relevant incidents/issues to be concrete, constructive and formal if needed
• Work closely with Purchasing in all contractual and formal aspects of the relationship life cycle, including search for new partners
• Drive establishment and maintain a operating model between Polestar and Partner with clear interfaces, responsibilities and processes that meet objectives and mitigate issues)
• Lead and facilitate joint strategic programs and road maps covering long-term collaboration
• Lead and facilitate partner off-boarding or separation programs

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• Master's degree of relevant education in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar
• Experience from a similar role or many years' experiences from agency side with consultant related deliveries to paying customers. Experience of being responsible for growing consultant related business on international accounts and achieving repeat sales
• Long experience from coaching and mentoring consultants and project managers
• Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies
• Proven track record in strategy planning and strategy execution
• Deep understanding of a large product oriented digital organization
• Excellent spoken and written English, in formal documents, briefs, letters, emails and other communications
• Good understanding of the dynamics both around in-house development organizations and commercial partners as well as of the steering mechanisms of large corporations and achieve results
• Passion about problem solving through design and sees value in taking an iterative design approach
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lead teams from different functions, with varying skills, expertise and tenure
• High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential
