Scania Trucks - Business Intelligence and Analytics
Do you want to lead the Scania Trucks organisation in our digitalisation journey? In 2021 we set the path for how we wanted to drive quality and efficiency in our operations through better use of data. In 2022 we added the objective to further improve our customer offering and experience through digitalisation. Even though a lot of work remains to be done, we now start to venture into better forecasting and predictive analytics, and we have really taken the leading role in systems development supporting our business.
We are looking for our new Digital Officer to lead us!

The Trucks organisation is central in the transformed Scania, leading sales and guiding services development, product development and business development. We take a CX / Customer First approach to meet both our short term and long term profit targets. Our actions have big and immediate impact for the whole company.
About the role
To secure a continued successful journey we are looking for a new Digital Officer to challenge, enable and drive digitalisation as well as promote cross-functional cooperation and agile thinking within the Scania Trucks department. The Digital Officer contributes in the strategic and operational approach to digitalisation. The role works close to management with the expectation to both take on a big mandate and to guide and inspire everyone around.
Responsibilities
Secure the connection between the global Scania strategy and the digital roadmap of the Trucks organisation
Own and refine Trucks' digital vision, ambition and budget and keep the portfolio of digital initiatives vital, relevant and anchored
Execute on the digital roadmap in terms of data, analytics, tools, methods, capabilities and organisation
Guide our development of ways of working to take advantage of Agile and Digital methods
Drive the digital transformation of business processes
Represent Trucks in cross-functional forums, e.g. Scania Data Board to secure that data is made accessible, well-structured and ready for us to use
Take an active role in the Digital Officer network to drive the overall Scania digital acceleration, and make this network accessible to Scania Trucks
Act as sponsor and coach in digital development initiatives, both for our BI developers and when we act as business owners to development done in other organisations
Lead the cross functional Trucks Digitalisation Team, with ambassadors from all departments
Drive the movement and attract and retain followers within Scania Trucks by communicating, inspiring and educating within the field of digitalisation to drive individual and team productivity

Who you are
To be successful, you bring energy and a dare-to-try approach.
You have proven success from leading and implementing change management projects linked to digitalisation, either from a consultancy, large/mid-sized industry or tech company
You are good at creating and encouraging collaboration around you
You can communicate both on a strategic level with senior management and on an operational level, coaching and supporting people around you
You are pedagogical, humble and highly motivated to drive deliveries and create lasting results as a team
You have a relevant knowledge in solution architecture and IT landscape as well as data management and warehouse platform, enough to coach people around you
You have an entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach - design thinking and co-creation have been part of your previous work tasks
You have the ability to develop governance structures and lead to decision until the structure is in place

On a personal level you strive to build wide contact networks with long term relationships through good collaboration, communication, structure and trust. A great passion for the success of Scania's customers, flow thinking and for our ability to meet the Science Based Targets is a plus!
