The Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation function is instrumental in creating meaningful, relatable, and actionable connections to our transformation, by developing and orchestrating the Digital & IT strategic direction, the digital transformation, and the change journey ahead of us.

This Is How You Could Make An Impact
As Digital & IT Partnership Lead, you will be key in our digital transformation, driving the cultural and knowledge shift of the entire Volvo Group in becoming a digital-first company.
You will be a member of the Digital & IT Partnership team within Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation function and report to Vice President, Head of Partnership. You will have the opportunity to work with several of the areas within our function and especially related to strategy and partnership.
These will be some of your responsibilities:
Tech and skill Make/Buy/Partner framework and orchestration
Orchestration of strategy and partnerships (tech and skills)
Lead and perform necessary workshops to drive the make/buy and partner agenda within D&IT and across functions and with executives
Orchestration of key partnerships
Collaborate across the Volvo Group in building & establishing eco systems
Design, plan and implement ways of working with and through other functions and stakeholders
Provide strategic sourcing expertise and ensure optimal sourcing can be conducted by purchasing
Strategic perspective of D&IT business associations & networks
You will be instrumental in identifying, establishing and managing a network of relevant partnerships and eco systems in tight cooperation with other functions and organizations.
Who are you?
You have a good understanding of the digital transformation and what role digital can play
You will be responsible for ensuring the D&IT partnership approach comes into fruition
You have a strong knowledge how technologies, skills and competencies can create value for the Volvo Group
You are capable in strategic thinking and can bring that into execution
You are skilled in creation positive collaboration beyond company boundaries and able to respresent Volvo's interest in complex environments
You will be successful in this role by thriving on building networks and promoting collaboration, no matter what context you are in
It is an additional advantage if you have experience from management consultancy practice or similar
We believe that you thrive to become a key player in the Volvo Group digital transformation, while working with amazing people around the world. You have a university degree or equivalent and experience in driving strategic initiatives across functions, you get going on working with others and through others.
You are a strategic thinker and truly interested in business, with hands-on approach, capable of switching between strategic thinking and operational creating.
To be successful in this role you have an excellent understanding of the digital transformation, and the value digital creates for the enterprise. You believe in true collaborations where both parties can gain value and complement each other. In addition, you work with a global mindset, thrive in complex environments, and feel comfortable with ambiguity and challenging the status quo.
