Job description: To transform 2D sketches or 3D scanned data into 3D digital shape models using the software system Alias Autodesk. To develop and visualize ideas together with the design team in the early phases. To enhance the digital shape model maturity and feasibility to match the project phases, with respect to aesthetic, dimensional and technical constraints. To develop digital models for decisions.
Ability to use the relevant software system for the computer-aided generation of models from designer sketches, given specifications including point data and verbal instructions. The precise generation of curved surfaces and irregular shapes and the close co-operation with the designer are especially important to achieve the best possible creative resolution, shape and colour reproduction of the design concept.
Generate a computer model with the help of ALIAS, which is of such good quality that the generated data can be directly passed on to milling machines to produce a 3-dimensional model with A class surfaces ready for paint application.
