Your role
Now we are looking for experienced Digital Modelers / Surface Designers who have a genuine technical understanding, and able to transform Industrial Design into advanced CAD, and who like a challenge.
You will be the bridge between design and engineering and play a key role in the development of the automotive industry's heavy vehicles.
Location will be Gothenburg, but other locations may also occur.
Your profile
You have an academic diploma and 5-10 years of experience with surface modeling in Alias / Icem Surf and know basics in Catia V5, Volvo standards processes and tools.
You have relevant experience from the automotive industry and in particular from Volvo Group.
You understand and can interpret both the purpose of the design and the challenges created in production to promote product development.
To succeed in your role, we like to see that you are motivated by working in teams, are keen to customers and project's needs and are a solution-oriented type.
The work may be towards our customers globally, therefore we want you to be able to quickly adapt to different corporate cultures and situations.
Your social skills are highly important to succeed in this role!
