You're a leader with experience of managing diverse teams, you understand the nuances and opportunities of digital marketing, and you thrive in an ever-evolving landscape. You excel in an environment where you work closely with the Digital Team, Meeting Places, and stakeholders to build engaged communities across various channels. The role also requires leadership skills such as building positive relationships, collaborating, creating customer value, as well leading a team with IKEA values, inspiring and clarifying, and unleashing entrepreneurs. Additionally, you have:
• Deep knowledge of the digital marketing mix and its role in integrated communication, marketing and engagement approaches.
• A big interest in how to collect, understand and apply data from digital tools for the benefit of the Communication and Marketing delivery as well as for other domains..
• Rich experience in developing audience-first, multi-channel communication and marketing plans.
• Previous experience from managerial positions with global scopes.
• Good knowledge of crisis communication processes.
• Extensive, demonstrable agency management experience.
• Curiosity and interest for innovative & digital tools to enhance communication and marketing impact.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
As the Digital Marketing & Engagement Manager you will lead and motivate the Digital Marketing & Engagement team to fulfil its purpose and deliver its agenda in great partnership with markets, Meeting Places, new businesses, and Domains.
Your main motivator will be to develop globally aligned, locally hyper-relevant marketing strategies and plans that promote customer engagement and conversion across digital channels; while developing a skilled communications & marketing network within the organization. You will be securing solid, data-informed performance approach to deliver the best outcomes and positive return on investment and spearhead MarTech and CommTech adoption to support innovation, effectiveness and impact.
As a key member of the Communication & Marketing Leadership Team, you'll play a collaborative role in steering the domain and network to meet its aspirations and fulfill its agenda. You'll engage with internal and external stakeholders, leading cross-functional initiatives to cultivate brand love and loyalty. You'll also support crisis communication and proactive issue as a part of your daily routine.
Amongst other things you will:
• Lead, motivate, and inspire the Digital Marketing & Engagement Team.
• Develop insight-based, integrated digital marketing strategies for global impact.
• Collaborate with other domains, markets, meeting places, partners and new businesses.
• Drive real-time measurement and performance optimization across digital channels.
• Spearhead the adoption of CommTech and MarTech for enhanced impact.
In this role you will report to Matt Drage, Communication & Marketing Manager, and be based in Malmö in Sweden.
