Within the D&E Materials & Package organization, we are looking for a Digital Ink Specialist.
You will have the opportunity to work in an energetic and inspiring team, and in close collaboration central functions and external partners, delivering new technologies and packaging material solutions.
What you will do
In this role you will Build and share Digital ink competence across Tetra Pak in order to fulfill the company's 2030 Strategic objectives.
Your main responsibilities:
• Support scrum teams with deep Digital ink competence on programme level.
• Build fundamental knowledge in collaboration in Development & Engineering, with the Supply chain organization, suppliers, universities, and institutes
• Drive collaboration and communication with Digital ink suppliers in development activities. Translate Tetra Pak's needs to Digital ink suppliers.
• Have an overview of the possibilities with digital ink technology and how to apply digital ink technology in Tetra Pak. Up to date on the technology applications externally.
• Initiate and drive technical studies and knowledge building within Digital ink area
• Be the link with Food packaging safety & interaction organization and spokesperson for Food safety related discussions in Digital ink matters
This position is based in Lund, Sweden.

You thrive in complex situations, have the ability to handle the big picture in deliverables and the same time being interested in technical details. Finally, you are a good team player, always motivating and inspiring others.
You have a Master or PhD degree preferably in Chemistry. Additional degrees and trainings are considered a plus. People skills and organizational savvy are musts.
The candidate we are looking for have 5-10 years or more experience work experience and qualifications within the following areas:
• Deep knowledge of ink chemistry and properties (Rheology, Surface energy).
• Knowledge about inkjet systems, requirements and interactions (Inkjet head types, Inking system, Waveform, Pre-coats/primers)
• Understanding of the Tetra Pak or similar converting process and packaging material
• Good knowledge about Base material interaction (Board - Ink - Polymer)
• Good knowledge about ink and food safety requirements
• Good knowledge about colour management and ink interaction
You excel at both written and spoken English.
