Global Industrial Development (TE) is responsible for strengthening and developing of Scania's joint expertise in engineering as well as Industrial IT (IT systems and automation solutions) within Production and Logistics (P&L).
Industrial IT (TEI) is responsible for the management of the IT and automation portfolio within P&L. The portfolio consists of traditional IT-systems, Digital Factory tools, shop floor IT and automation solutions. Our mission is to manage and develop strategies and architecture for these solutions aligned to the P&L global business strategies. The Digital Factory is a part of the Industrial IT team (TEI) and there is a need for extension within machining and logistics area.
Job description
Your main task will be to develop Scania's strategies and methods for Digital Factory and to support Scania's global production engineering community within the field of simulation tools especially for the machining and logistics area.
As an expert in the field you should also be able to train new users in Scania in our simulation tools.
Your profile
We believe that you have an industrial background with focus on the usage of IT system within the simulation areas - Digital Factory. Experience in CatiaV5, Enovia, Delmia or good skills in similar tools is an advantage. We require a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science and minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in this IT area. As a person you are structured, organized and have extensive communication skills. Furthermore you are open-minded and receptive to new influences and ideas.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge in German language is an advantage. Advantage if you have an extensive network within in your area of responsibility.
