You will be provided with a lot of autonomy and are expected to help shape your role and decide how we as a company should allocate our design resources to get maximum impact. You will have daily contact with colleagues across the world and we are looking for someone that thrives in an international environment.
Your main responsibilities will be to work with our Global webmaster, Web editor and our Digital Business Manager to continuously improve our sites, globally. You will help balance the commercial and technical input with a strong focus on UX/UI and you are not afraid to be the customers voice in the matter. Our main audience is 10-19 years old and you will direct our digital design in a direction that makes sense as much for them as it is consistent with our brand.
Your other tasks will be to develop visually appealing assets for campaigns across all channels and provide design guidance and operational support to our content producers as well as our local subsidiaries, this include a design responsibility for our global newsletters. If you have a wider interest in digital marketing we would love for you to be involved in campaign development as well, we are building a tight nit team and for us to keep pace with our clients, we need ideas to come from everywhere - especially from people that has an eye for things that look good!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphic web design and publication
Continuous development of our UX/UI
Development of new design prototypes and mockups
Design of new functionality and site views as well as campaign sites
Deliver graphics to our external developers
Design digital ads, banners and other assets
Global newsletter design
Be our UX advocate within all aspects of the business - there are digitalization initiatives happening in all parts of the business where a skilled designer will be able to have a lot of influence
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Trained Graphic Designer with a strong emphasis on digital publication
Experience in web design and UX/UI
Experience in digital design and a solid understanding of the relationship between content, visual design, user interface and technology
Knowledge in Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision and/or other tools that supports you in your work
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Interest in content creation for children and youth
Interest in digital marketing and communication with images and video
Experience in CMS tools and web publication is an asset
Good written and spoken English plus one additional European is a big plus
