Overview
SCA Group Function Communications are looking for a temporary Digital Communications Specialist who wants to take on the challenge to support the execution of online communications related activities. You will become a member in the Media Relations & Online Communications team which consists of five people. The role reports to the VP Media Relations and Online Communications. This position will replace our colleague during a parental leave for approximately half a year with start mid-January 2016.
As a Digital Communications Specialist in the Media Relations & Online Communications team the main focus will be to support the implementation of Group online communications plans and initiatives. The role also includes ensuring that sca.com and all SCA-branded websites uses the same technical platform, content management system and design concept, as determined by Group Function Communications and Group IT Services.
The position is located in SCA’s head office in the Waterfront Building in central Stockholm. The head office includes the group staff functions for Finance, Strategy and Business Development, Legal, Sustainability, Human Resources and Communications, as well as CEO office. Some 130 specialists work in an international environment where business processes are promoted through the global networks in the 60 countries where SCA is represented.
Main Tasks
Support the implementation of online communications plans and initiatives
Write, publish, update and follow up on online communications channels content
Coordinate a news mix in SCAs communication channels
Maintain and work together with relevant internal Communication network and external agencies to support online development
Ensure synergies by applying and improving common processes, templates and digital technical solutions
Key Competencies
Master or Bachelor degree within Digital Communications, Marketing or similar
Newly graduated with up to 4 years of relevant work experience
Big interest and curiosity in digital platforms, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, blogs etc.
Good knowledge and understanding of content management systems, e.g. EpiServer, WordPress and HTML
Excellent writing skills in Swedish and English for web and social media channels
Team player and solution oriented
Well-structured and with the ability to prioritize
