About the Assignment
This assignment is with a company in the automotive sector, where you will take a key role in digital procurement and strategic sourcing. You will work in a global setup alongside buyers, a contract specialist, and a category manager, helping optimize the portfolio for software and hardware agreements.
Job DescriptionLead global category strategies and turn them into actionable sourcing plans.
Drive negotiations to secure cost savings, strong commercial terms, and improved supplier performance.
Manage RFQs and ensure ongoing and new sourcing activities are completed effectively.
Establish and maintain valid contracts for relevant software and hardware.
Analyze spend, identify sourcing opportunities, and mitigate supply risks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and procurement teams to align priorities and maximize synergies.
Optimize the existing supplier and contract portfolio within the digital area.
RequirementsExperience in category management, procurement, and negotiation.
Strong analytical capability, including spend analysis and opportunity assessments.
BSc or higher in Business Administration, Economics, or a technical discipline.
Full proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
5+ years of strategic procurement experience, with at least 3 years in an IT Procurement role.
IT experience.
Strong business acumen and a global mindset.
Fluency in English.
