Job description
Business unit Modem and Common IP Development (RDM) within ST-Ericsson is responsible for developing modem access technology for the ST-Ericsson mobile platforms. The ASIC organization is specifying and implementing complete modem sub systems including state of the art access capabilities in latest technologies.
We are a team of 30 engineers where we today is looking for a person to strengthen the team within the competence area ASIC netlist synthesis and STA. You will be a part of our synthesis and STA team responsible for netlist generation, constraints development, sign-off and to be the primary interface with the back-end team. You will work with state of the art EDA tools in latest silicon technologies in an international team working over many sites. Being part of the team also means you be working with developing or methodologies within the working areas described.
Competence:
M. Sc. or B. Sc. degree in a relevant field
A minimum of 5 years work experience within the telecom industry
Previous experience within synthesis and STA is advantageous for this position
You should have experience in working in UNIX and programming languages such as Perl, Python, TCL or similar
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
High ability to work independently, take initiative and drive own work
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project
Good problem solving capabilities and ability to work in a structured way is required
