Business unit Modems within ST-Ericsson is responsible for developing modem access technology for the ST-Ericsson mobile platforms. The ASIC organization is specifying and implementing complete modem sub systems including state of the art access capabilities in latest technologies.
• We are a team of 30 engineers where we today is looking for a person to strengthen the team within the competence digital ASIC System Design. You will be a part of our System Architecture team responsible for systematization of complex digital IPs or complete SoC. This includes power and area estimations, bus architecture definition, clock and power management specification, etc. You also need to be able to take the role as technical leader for our projects. We are using the latest silicon technologies and are working in an international team working over many sites. Being part of the team also means you be working with developing our methodologies to enable our work.
Required competence
Education Level Required: Master of Science or equivalent
Years of Work Experience: 5 to 15
The other skills required are:
Extensive background in digital ASIC design
Experience from latest technology process nodes
System architecture experience from complex SoC projects
Capability to lead system design work
Written and spoken English
Additional competence
You should be able to work individually driving your task as well as being part of a team.
Good problem solving capabilities and ability to work in a structured way is required.
Location
This is a permanent position at our R&D organization in Lund, Sweden.
