Business unit Modems within ST-Ericsson is responsible for developing modem access technology for the ST-Ericsson mobile platforms. The ASIC organization is specifying and implementing complete modem sub systems including state of the art access capabilities in latest technologies.
We are a team of 30 engineers where we today are looking for a person to strengthen the team within the competence digital ASIC design. You will be a part of our front-end design team responsible for block design and verification using VHDL and state of the art EDA tools. We are using the latest silicon technologies and are working in an international team working over many sites. Being part of the team also means you be working with developing our methodologies within the working areas described.
Required competence
Education Level Required: Master of Science or equivalent
Years of Work Experience: 1 to 10
The other skills required are:
Knowledge in VHDL
Experience from digital ASIC block design and verification
You should have experience in working in UNIX and programming languages such as Perl, Python, TCL or similar
Written and spoken English
Additional competence
You should be able to work individually driving your task as well as being part of a team.
Good problem solving capabilities and ability to work in a structured way is required.
Previous experience within VHDL and digital design is advantageous for this position.
Location
This is a permanent position at our R&D organization in Lund, Sweden.
