hela Sverige Publiceringsdatum2024-05-14Dina arbetsuppgifterAre you a skilled engineer with a passion for diagnostics and OBD? Do you want to shape the future of vehicle steering systems? We are looking for a Diagnostic System Designer to ensure our power-steering node complies with OBD regulations and to develop fault monitoring strategies.
As a Diagnostic System Designer, you will enhance the diagnostic capabilities of our power-steering systems and define the product architecture to meet remote diagnostics requirements. You'll also support service teams in diagnosing field issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Define and implement diagnostic fault monitoring strategies and mitigation plans for PSCM nodes.
• Compile necessary documentation for OBD II regulatory compliance.
• Support the development of diagnostic verification plans by:
- Reviewing component test results.
- Advising testing engineers to verify PSCM diagnostics.
- Reviewing vehicle-level verification results.
- Supporting continuous in-vehicle diagnostic testing.
• Stay current with ZEV OBD regulations as defined by CARB and develop compliance strategies.
• Define and maintain the PSCM Subsystem Specific Diagnostic Database (SSDS).
- Ensure SSDS compliance with BT requirements and OBD regulations.
• Support updates to PSCM SDB to comply with ZEV OBD regulations.
• Contribute to requirement deployment in tools like Carweaver.
• Review supplier fault-handling specifications for existing projects.
• Discuss technical solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support OBD homologation for PSCM.
• Assist in early-phase ESOW work, including DD-SOW and BT requirements related to diagnostics.
Din Profil
• Experienced engineer with several years working with OBD.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic fault handling and mechatronic nodes.
• Structured and skilled at summarizing and presenting your work status.
• Master of Science degree or equivalent documented education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of steering systems.
• Familiarity with VCC Diagnostic BT requirements.
