We currently have an opening for a Requirement Engineer to our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. Requirement Engineers are on the forefront of the Aftermarket group's projects and participate in early design decisions and recommend and support strategic decisions impacting our products. In this role you will be specifying documentation and supporting the balancing of aftermarket requirements for our products within the process scope. The role also includes ensuring that we can understand the best way to meet our customer's and end users needs early in our projects lifespan.
You will be setting requirements used to design and provide diagnostics & special tools for our technicians. Your responsibility will also be to coordinate the delivery, gather and analyze product and project information and contribute to the design and strategies for the technical solutions. You will secure that the aftermarket requirements are handled and understood with a particular focus during the early phases of product development.

Diagnostic Engineering is a group function innovating, developing, maintaining and delivering Diagnostic Service Based Solutions for Volvo products on the aftermarket. Our deliveries entail diagnostic tool platforms and content exemplified in Tech Tool and diagnostic content like Guided Diagnostics and Operations.
Our diagnostic team today consists of 24 highly competent and engaged colleagues working within team project coordination, requirements, diagnostic methods, tests and calibrations and diagnostic strategies for supporting workshop technicians around the globe.

Who are you?
We believe that you have an eye for details, are self-sufficient and motivated. You have previous experience from working within cross-functional teams, working within an agile framework and from a global environment. We also believe you have experience in requirement breakdown or technical project structures and are proficient in technical documentation. In addition to this, you are customer and end-user oriented and you have excellent networking skills.

Qualifications
• MSc or similar within Electrical , Electro-mobility or Automotive Engineering
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with heavy duty vehicle repair, diagnostics and maintenance
• Experience with heavy duty product development
• Experience in requirement handling and follow up
• Education/experience with Electro-mobility solutions
