What's in it for you?

The Electric Drive Controls section is a part of the department Propulsion Power System. The department and the solution train commit to deliver products with high quality and with an ownership that lays within the development teams in each Agile Release Train. ED SOFTWARE is one of the ARTs within Electrical Propulsion Product Stream. ED SOFTWARE main focus is to deliver an innovated and robust SW platform for the next generation of hybrid and electrical vehicles.

The Diagnostic & Safety team have the lead of the diagnostic of the electric drive system. This includes in-house SW development for fault code handling and reliability concept design. The team also performs verification to ensure that the system solutions are following the System Safety standards.

What you'll do

As a Diagnostic Function Developer, you will be a part of a highly agile and fast-paced team that delivers state of the art functionality. You will utilize a model based development process and have responsibility of all phases of the development, from design and implementation to vehicle testing and fine-tuning of the functionality.

Do you fit the profile?

To be able to enjoy this position we believe you have an engineering background preferably within Electrical, Electronics, Controls Theory, Signals & Systems or Mechatronics. You have experience from embedded software development including Matlab, Simulink or similar model based SW development. Further, you have experience from debugging/testing embedded software systems. You are experienced in AUTOSAR structured architecture, workflow and tool chains and you know how to perform:
* Functional testing in various environments
* Calibration activities in test rigs and vehicles

Driving license (B-level) and fluency in English, verbally and written, is required.

If you are experienced in one of the following areas, it's meritorious:
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
* Programming skills like C, Python or Continuous Integration
* Working with Scrum/Kanban development, Automation or Build environments
* Working with Micro controllers and Processors
* Working with JIRA, Jenkins or GIT/SVN
* Knowledge about Lauterbach or ETAS/INCA development toolchain
* Electrical motor vector control theory (for PMSM)

Your oral presentation skills are great and you are creative and like to handle analytical problems.
