Could you provide the leadership within Personalised Health Care & Biomarkers (PHB) that enables a world-leading pharmaceutical company to change the way healthcare is delivered to individual patients? We are looking for 2 Diagnostic Experts to join our PHB function in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Through diagnostic tests to evaluate individual responses to treatments, we aim to match medicines to those patients who will benefit from them most. We apply Personalised Health Care (PHC) approaches across all therapy areas (TAs), and in over 85% of drug projects in our pipeline, which sets us apart from our competitors.

Main duties and Responsibilities
You will be a member of a Companion Diagnostic Unit (CDU) aligned to the Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CVMD) therapy area. Your objective will be to ensure that diagnostic tests or equivalent segmentation tools are delivered to drug projects. This will entail implementing the strategy agreed by the early or late development teams (iMed and GMed respectively) , and planning and project managing PHB activities from a scientific, technical, financial, risk, regulatory, IP and partnering perspective.
The role will involve contributing to the personal development of project teams members. Providing expert advice on strategic PHC approaches and diagnostic development to product teams, you?ll be instrumental in ensuring that we adopt world-class practice in the field to increase the likelihood of successful drug launch and return on investment.
Essential requirements
PhD, MD or equivalent experience in a relevant subject
Evidence of delivery, and experience of PHC approaches or clinical biomarkers within Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CVMD)
Scientific credibility within Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CVMD)
Excellent skills in communication, stakeholder influencing, programme management
Understanding of the functions involved in diagnostic development and how they contribute to achieving business objectives.
Desirable requirements
Experience of delivering companion diagnostics, regulatory interactions and commercialisation
Record of publications and strong external reputation in the PHC field.
Experience of the development of companion diagnostic tests or segmentation tools in clinical studies
