hela Sverige Could you provide the senior-level leadership within Personalised Health Care & Biomarkers (PHB) that enables a world-leading pharmaceutical company to change the way healthcare is delivered to individual patients? At AstraZeneca, we're looking for three Diagnostic Experts to join our PHB function in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Through diagnostic tests to evaluate individual responses to treatments, we aim to match medicines to those patients who will benefit from them most. We apply Personalised Health Care (PHC) approaches across all therapy areas (TAs), and in over 85% of drug projects in our pipeline, which sets us apart from our competitors.

Main duties and responsibilities
You'll be a member of a Companion Diagnostic Unit (CDU) aligned to the Respiratory, Inflammation & Autoimmune (RIA), or Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CVMD) therapy areas. Your objective will be to ensure that companion diagnostic tests or equivalent segmentation tools are delivered to drug projects. This will entail implementing the strategy agreed by iMed and GMed teams, and planning and project managing PHB activities from a technical, financial, risk, regulatory, IP and partnering perspective.
The role will involve contributing to the personal development of project teams members. Providing expert advice on strategic PHC approaches and companion diagnostic development to product teams, you'll be instrumental in ensuring that we adopt world-class practice in the field to increase the likelihood of successful drug launch and return on investment.
Minimum Essential requirements
PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant subject
Experience of the development of companion diagnostic tests or segmentation tools in clinical studies
Evidence of delivery, and experience of PHC approaches and diagnostic development, within Respiratory, Inflammation & Autoimmune (RIA), or Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CVMD)
Excellent skills in communication, stakeholder influencing, programme management
Significant understanding of the functions involved in companion diagnostic development and how they contribute to achieving business objectives.
