We currently have an opening for a Diagnostic Engineer to our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. Diagnostics Engineers are on the forefront of the Aftermarket group's projects and participate in the mid to late design phases, recommending and supporting strategic decisions impacting our products. In this role you will be specifying, documenting and supporting the balancing of aftermarket requirements for our products within the process scope. The role also includes ensuring that we can understand the best way to meet our customer's needs early in the diagnostic lifespan.
You will be designing and providing diagnostic strategies & special tools for our technicians. Your responsibility will also be to coordinate the delivery, gather and analyze product and project information and contribute to design and strategies for the technical solutions. You will secure that the aftermarket requirements are handled and secured during implementation of the diagnostic strategies.

Our deliveries entail diagnostic tool platforms and content exemplified in Tech Tool and diagnostic content like Guided Diagnostics and Operations.
Our diagnostic team today consists of 25 highly competent and engaged colleagues working within team project coordination, requirements, diagnostic methods, tests and calibrations and diagnostic strategies for supporting workshop technicians around the globe.

Who are you?
We believe that you have an eye for details, are self-sufficient and motivated. You have previous experience from leading cross-functional teams and from a global environment. We also believe you have experience in requirement breakdown or technical project management and are proficient in technical documentation. In addition to this, you are customer and end-user oriented and has excellent networking skills. We can offer you the opportunity to learn about global service needs and give your input on how to improve our way of working.
Qualifications
BSc or similar within Electrical-/ Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with heavy duty vehicle repair, diagnostics and maintenance
Experience with heavy duty product development
Experience in requirement handling and follow up
Basic knowledge of the equipment for electronics system/component testing (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.)
Basic knowledge in SAFe or agile team/development techniques
