We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within the Nordics. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating new customer and IT implementations as well as bigger improvements projects for our 3 PL warehouse and transport customers in close cooperation with customers, IT, BD and Site Management. We want to be our customer's first choice when it comes to tailored solutions and this role is a big part of maintaining and achieving that goal. The position will be based in Sweden and report to Head of Project Delivery. Travelling within the Nordics is required.
Your main tasks include
• Manage projects throughout the whole project lifecycle using DHL project management methodology, processes and tools, ensuring project delivery on time and budget
• Full project responsibility from planning, through implementation and follow up of the projects including resource planning and staffing as well as creation and follow-up of the project budget and maintaining risk
• Lead the project team in planning project deliverables and execution using the available tools and templates
• Obtain feedback from all stakeholders at critical milestones to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations
• Close engagement with customers in business development, project and follow-up phases to strengthen the sales and delivery of new solutions
We expect you to have
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management roles preferably from the logistics industry
• University degree (engineer or similar)
• Knowledge within sector logistics industry
• Proficiency of English language
• Experience in building and maintaining close relationships with senior executives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging project-based culture
