DHL Freight Sweden is currently looking for a Director Business Controlling with broad experience within the controlling area, further qualifications from the logistics industry is an advantage. Business Controlling supports all different business areas in DHL Freight with a team of 15 colleagues (6 direct reports). In this role you will have the overall responsibility for all financial analysis and financial processes as well as reporting, forecasting and budgeting for all business areas. It is very important that you are able to prioritize on long-term initiatives as well as securing that short-term deadlines are kept. The Director Business Controlling is a full member of the Swedish Finance Management Team and report directly to the CFO of DHL Freight Sweden.

The position is full time and placement is Stockholm, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
Lead and drive development of the Business Controlling function
Responsible for concepts and processes for Business Controlling within DHL Freight Sweden, for all business areas as well as for indirect functions
Main contact for the Heads of the Business Areas as well as the Heads of indirect functions in terms of operational controlling
Drives the steering logic for the businesses and develops understanding and adequate controlling for the businesses
Main contributor to monthly analysis of the result, finding root causes, evaluating possible actions, quantifying impact of actions and follow-up of success and impact
Works very closely with the CFO Freight Sweden as well as with all Result- and Budget responsibles
Who are you?
As a person we are looking for a qualified leader with excellent communication skills combined with analytical strength and ability to reduce complex content to the core. You thrive with own responsibilities and have the ability to discover business opportunities and to develop business strategies to secure implementation and achievement of these. You have documented leadership experience and ability to challenge and develop your team.
You have relevant education within Finance/Business Administration and 5-10 years working experience within Controlling, whereof/combined with +5 years in management role. You have strong analytical skills and wide experience with handling Profit & Loss as well as balance sheets and reporting/communicating to top management. To be successful in the position it is important to work closely together with operations and have a commercial mindset and influencing capabilities at senior professional levels. You work pro-actively in a solution oriented manner in order to deliver according to set deadlines.
Prerequisites?
Swedish language, spoken and written at a professional level, is a prerequisite for the role and as our environment is often International also English language at a professional level is a must. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is needed, and it is an advantage to have experience within logistics industry.
