Role mission & Context:
The Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostics, is a function with the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives supporting embedded software handling, as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into digital products.
We work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. You will be part of an engaged team in an international and multicultural environment and within a department developing our future IT solutions in the Embedded SW area.
As a DevSecOps Engineer, within the Embedded SW domain, focusing on Artifact Management we think this matches your profile:
You much rather spend time on various online forums to find technical solutions, than simply buying a finalized product.
SW-development is a passion of yours.
You have experience in setting up Azure DevOps-pipelines and feel comfortable in working in a container-based micro-service environment.
You have a customer driven mindset and come up with new ideas to support the business by testing and learning.
Competences we are looking for:
If you have previous experience of embedded software development within automotive, it will most likely come in handy. To succeed in this role, we also think you have the following skills and experience:
Good communication skills
Customer driven mindset
Self-driven in your work
Team oriented; knowledge sharing is part of your way-of-working.
Experience from working with:
Artifactory
Good knowledge in Linux
OpenShift or Kubernetes
SPLUNK or Logstash/Elastic
AzureDevOps pipelines
Azure Cloud or similar
Docker containers
Distributed Tracing
Security best practices
