About us
We are a small team within the larger enterprise of Kofax. Every day we solve interesting and complex challenges around monitoring, automation, data security and performance. Our charter is to safeguard the health and availability for a handful of cloud services developed by Kofax.
Recently the team has embarked on an exciting journey to increase autonomy and self-direction. That is why we are looking for new hungry team members that possess drive and can do attitude and not least some one that is prepared to have great fun in shaping the future of the cloud operations in our company.
About the position
As a devOps Engineer in our team you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future cloud operations function by challenging and influencing the way we operate. Thru the well-established devOps spirit you will be working collaborative with software development teams to harness the fast-phased movement of change through development and into production.
Your main areas of responsibility:
• Manage, maintain and monitor deployed Cloud solutions and AWS/Azure infrastructure resources
• Provisioning and deployment of production systems
• Scaling of resources
• Log bugs in development issue tracking system and follow up
• Alerting and escalations based on production system incidents
• Run and maintain server-side scripts to accomplish requests from customers, partners and end-users
• Orchestration of production entities in the cloud including automation, tooling, billing, authoring and configuration
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues related to the SaaS cloud products and solutions
Furthermore, you will be responsible to continuously optimize and improve the way we monitor and safeguard the cloud solutions. Ensuring that we have robust and relevant automation will also be one of your responsibilities. If you are inclined towards security you will be offered to explore this further.
