The Software Factory unit belongs to the R&D Software organization with the mission to enable the organization with capabilities within Data Management, Continues Integration / Development and Cloud Engineering.
As Dev Sec Ops Engineer you will be part of the Dev Ops Team working in the R&D Software organization core deliveries such as connectivity, innovation and infotainment programs.
As Dev Sec Ops Engineer your responsibility will be to support our overall security within Software Factory and mainly in GCP. As Dev Sec Ops Engineer you will work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientist, Developers and Dev Ops Engineers.
The Dev Sec Ops Engineer will report to the Director of Software Factory.
Responsibilities
* Build and deliver security services in GCP and other platforms to support all Software Factory deliveries.
* Integrate key security policies such as code analysis
* compliance monitoring
* threat investigation and vulnerabilities assessments into typical DevOps workflows
* Implementing best practices that reduce total corporate risk
* Optimizing for automation, scalability and performance
* Continuous monitoring and evaluation to help identify key issues and discover emerging threats before they impact ready-to-be-deployed software or services.
* Prevent that critical vulnerabilities aren't being overlooked in deployments.
* To secure the CI/CD pipelining
* Work with multi-functional teams to support their security needs in solutions
* Helping establish a security focused culture within engineering teams
* Deploy, upgrade and configure solutions
* Translate technical requirements
* Develop interface and simulators
* Trouble shoot various environments
* Assist with planning activities and provide input to operational cost and risks in deliveries
Competence
* Education within Cloud Security
* Experience using Dev Ops Sec tools and processes
* Experience of creation of CI/CD pipelines
* Experience from working with Infrastructure-as-Code
* Working knowledge of container technologies is a must (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience from Google Cloud Platform is mandatory
* Experience from connectivity area is preferred
* Familiarity with monitoring tools
* Holistic perspective on deliveries and technology roadmaps
* Curios mindset
* Passion for technology
