Bahnhof is growing and now we need additional reinforcement for our managed services department. The position is suitable for those who currently work as DevOps engineers with a focus on automation.
A fitting candidate should be self-driven and have the ability to get to grips with new technology. Our platforms are based on hardware such as Cisco and HPE, and our virtual environments are based on a variation of VMware, OpenStack and Kubernetes. You'll need to have experience in similar environments - you've likely spent some time working for another operations provider and are now looking for the next step in your career.
You will be part of our Cloud Infrastructure team, which consists of a number of skilled and dedicated engineers in a variety of areas. We work on a daily basis to develop operational solutions and guide our customers in the choice between physical, hybrid or pure cloud solutions.
Your mission will be the automation of our systems and to support and work proactively as well as reactively with the build and operation of our Kubernetes and Linux based platforms.

Competencies
Required:
Ansible.
Scripting/programming in Bash and Python.
College degree in the field or equivalent experience.
Administration of Linux based systems: Ubuntu, RHEL.
Basic networking knowledge such as TCP/IP stack.
Documentation skills.
Preferably several of the following:
Open source software such as: Apache, MySQL, Nginx, Postfix, OpenLDAP, Bind.
Basic knowledge of virtualisation/hypervisors such as VMware and KVM.
Monitoring: Check_mk, Prometheus and Grafana.
Configuration management/automation with Ansible.
IT security (firewalls, certificates, encryption).
Release management with Git.
Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience of operations and infrastructure in data centres or any cloud platform.
You should have a genuine interest in Linux. If you are a person who labs a lot in your spare time with everything from servers to your own open source projects, we see this as highly desirable.
The position is based at Bahnhof's office in Malmö.
