Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to serve as an admin and power user for our suite of infrastructure tools, including but not limited to Gitlab, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, WMWare, Cloud Azure, and Black Duck. As an expert in these tools, you will play a crucial role in supporting the software lifecycle, from development to deployment. This position requires programming knowledge to work with and maintain these tools, along with the ability to develop new tools and scripts for automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage infrastructure tools such as Gitlab, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, WMWare, Cloud Azure, and Black Duck.
Support the software lifecycle from development to deployment.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation.
Work independently and take ownership of projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Test and evaluate new tools and methods for effective software development.
Provide support for infrastructure observability.
Promote automated software testing and continuous integration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality software solutions.
Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and tools.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams, developers, and stakeholders.
Enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting team members.
Experience:
At least 3-10 years of relevant work experience.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Administration of Linux environments in a corporate setting.
Containerization technologies and orchestration experience.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Infrastructure as code experience.
Administration of code repository and continuous integration servers.
Familiarity with system architectures, basic network, and storage experience.
Familiarity with Azure Tenant administration.
Familiarity with software composition analysis and license compliance.
