The position
We are expanding the CRM and web teams and are therefore seeking a DevOps engineer/architect who will be part of our different virtual teams. You will be a key player in our customer experience development at Roxtec. You should have broad general knowledge within IT development, good technical skills, and a proven background in your areas of knowledge. Regardless of if you have a lot of professional experience or if you are a fresh talent from the university, we encourage you to apply.
The role will primarily be to ensure that our products and services are developed according to our customer needs. To succeed in this role, you need a genuine interest in coding.
The Roxtec IT department covers operation, development, and support for all the 28 subsidiaries in the group, worldwide. The IT department is based at the Roxtec headquarters in Karlskrona, Sweden, where all systems, from ERP through to other special applications, are maintained and developed.
Key responsibilities:
• Setting up and maintain Roxtec development pipelines, CI/CD.
• System development and integration, building and maintaining.
• Being the solution architect for new features and solutions.
• Innovation and exploration of new technologies.
• Architectural reviewer of software deliveries.
• Secure development is done in accordance with security standards.
You will also:
• Help the team deliver any tasks that are needed.
• Help creating and evaluating requirements, internally and towards external partners.
• Ensure continuous improvements within the area.
Background
• A university degree in engineering or computer science or similar.
• Experience as a system developer.
• Experience as solution/software architect.
• Experience in CI/CD.
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
It is also a merit if you have experience in SCRUM, business intelligence, project management, IT security and cloud solutions.
