hela Sverige Right now, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to our Cloud & Platform Capabilities unit. I am Emil Hallberg, leader of Private Cloud and am now looking for a coder with OPS know-how to my team. We are a great bunch of people with mixed competencies who unite in our strive for continuous improvement.Your next challenge?As a DevOps Engineer within the Cloud & Platforms Capabilities unit you will work in a team with end-to-end responsibility. Together with the team your job is to operate and continuously improve the capabilities of your domain by developing tools, platforms and infrastructure.You will be part of Private Cloud, a team that provides Cloud Infrastructure and PaaS capabilities for Telia Company. Your role is to secure and develop our capabilities, more specifically you will build automations, develop scripts as well as operate the environments.We run highly virtualized and automated environments, so coding and scripting skills are key for this position. Knowledge of virtualization technologies is nice to have but not mandatory.Who are you?We think you are a forward leaning technology enthusiast who always wants to learn more and are not afraid of challenging status quo. You constantly look for improvements and like exploring ideas and experimenting together with your colleagues.You might be a developer interested in what happens when your code is pushed to production or a sysadmin with a lot of passion for coding and scripting. Either way, we think this role is for you.Need to have:- Proven coding and scripting skills of a modern language (e.g. Python, C#, GO)- Forward thinking and open mindset- Understanding of agile principles.Nice to have:- Understanding of both DEV and OPS concepts- Continuous delivery (CI/CD) working experience- VMware (vSphere, vRA, vRO)- Cisco (UCS, ACI) hands-on experience.English proficiency, written and oral as well as effective communication skills are expected.Interested?If you fancy joining my team, apply for the job!
