Loop54 is rapidly becoming a game-changer in the business of e-commerce. This equals a lot of fun, but also a lot of things that need to be built and scaled up, thus we are growing our development team. Do you want to help us build the best product search engine out there?

At Loop54 we develop a search engine that uses cutting edge AI technology to provide truly relevant search results and that learns from user behaviour to continuously do so. We already deliver search to hundreds of e-tailers and we are adding new ones at an ever quickening rate. From the start our customers where mostly Nordic based but we are seeing an increased interest from global customers and are building for a big geographical expansion.For us developers, this means we need to scale up and automate our operations further and this is what we need your help with!

We're a team of 7 skilled developers and right now we are expanding in areas of scalability and operations. You will work as a Devops Architectas part of a team working towards improving our product and our technical infrastructure. We believe that you have solid experience and a keen interest in operational frameworks, pros and cons of different common database designs, tools and best practices for configuration management, monitoring, deployment pipelines, containerisation and orchestration and that you want to work with the team to define and develop our future infrastructure and operational environment.

Requirements

You...

• are comfortable with English as working language
• are comfortable with several programming languages and possibly considers a mix of golang, python and bash to be your tools of preference
• have experience and a keen interest in working with operations, such as for example continuous delivery, automated testing, containerized deployments, cloud services etc
• have experience with and a keen interest in designing and building distributed and scalable systems
• have a relevant academic background or equivalent practical experience
• are eligible to work in Sweden - the position is only available in Stockholm

Beneficial
In addition to the qualifications, we also value if you...

• have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions

• have experience with technologies like: redis, mongoDB, postgresql, cassandra, docker, kubernetes, rabbitMQor similar
