We are now looking for a Development Test Engineer within AC and RESS !
Description
You will be part as an engineer located in the climate wind tunnel within the Vehicle Integration and Testing organization. Which is a unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be part in a team of Engineers and technicians, your primary responsibility are testing and validation in the electrical AC system. Testing in rig and vehicles within different build phases according to test matrix and standards. Collaboration internally with different constructing areas and externally with suppliers.
Responsibility:
- Perform AC testing and validation according to certain test methods, as welle as both internal and external standards, including compartment and RESS (rechargeable energy storage system).
- Maintain responsibility through the complete product lifecycle, including advanced development, industrialization development, production, and service stages.
- Prepare the test plan that includes a number of CWT (Climate wind tunnel) tests for thermal AC e.g. fill rate, maximum performance, compartment cool down and RESS cooling.
- Ensure that the measurement point installation and sample values are in accordance within the rig tests so that the test results can be matched.
- Perform test according test methods; Heat Performance, Cooling Performance, Temperature Distribution, Flow and distribution of air through the climate house.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products and support future product planning activities.
- Write and publish test report for both internal and external costumers after performed tests.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education level of a Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-year history working with product development.
- Knowledge in electrical operating AC and cooling systems within automotive.
- Understanding in construction from rig testing to vehicle implementation.
- Experiance in evaluation of test results and feedback to the construction department.
- Knowledge in IPE-Tronic is meritorious, knowledge in DEWESoft snd CANNOE is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Driver license B.
