About the role
The development manager is a part of the technical management group of Talentech and reports to the CTO.
You will join a cross-functional team where experts in UX, frontend, backend, test and dev-ops work together to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
As a team we also emphasize learning and development and meet in hackathons, bookcircles, and tech lunches.
Responsibilities and tasks for the position:
Development of one or more products, working with the product department
Day to day management of one or more teams
Personnel responsibility of the team members
Coaching and career development of the team members
Technical roadmap for the products
Quality of the development
Security, compliance and operations of the products
Understand requirements and solve issues with customers
Handling of incident for any of the products working with customer success
Qualifications:
A development manager has been working with product development in a technical position for at least 5 years. The person understands how technology, product, project and people work together to deliver results for the business and have experience with all aspects from previous projects. A development manager has excellent communication skills and use this to manage the team and to work with all the stakeholders. Speaking and understanding a nordic language is required to communicate with our customers.
Experience with Python, Angular, PHP, ASP.NET, Postgressql, Jenkins and Ubuntu is valued in this position together with combining existing technology and developing new products following microservice architecture
