Do you love working with agile development teams?
Agile teams require agile leaders and we are expanding our development management team with additional Development Leads.
As a Development Lead you manage two to four self-organising, agile teams in their ongoing efforts to improve processes - both individually and as a team. You report to a Development Manager. You facilitate growth and learning and more often than not this means getting out of the way as teams navigate their way through the various challenges.
You shield the team from wasteful disturbance, remove obstacles that the team has decided would deflect attention from progress without adding learning, and facilitate a group of very smart people attempting to solve devious problems.
Some of the day-to-day work:
• Observing the teams and their cooperation with stakeholders and coaching them on how to improve their impact and throughput
• Coaching the Scrum Masters in your teams to help them hone their skillset and keep the process sharp and the team focused
• Supporting teams in cross-team communications
• Facilitating continuous improvement across the organisation
• Recruiting for the development organisation
You'll like Kambi if you:
• Thrive in a relaxed and high paced work environment
• Do not need supervision
• Aren't afraid to speak your mind
• Have high expectations of yourself and your peers
• Think business value delivered is what defines great development
We think the successful candidate:
• Has worked several years with development teams in agile environments
• Has worked as a developer or tester before venturing into leadership
• Gets excited when thinking of the possibilities that opens up for an organisation that manage to properly take advantage of all its data to become truly insight driven in their decision making
• Understands group dynamics and has a good grasp on how to help teams transition from one phase to the next
• Knows the difference between internal and external motivation
• Has a very strong understanding of the principles of agile and lean software development
What's in it for you?
• Opportunity to work in a successful and fast-growing company
• A fun and flexible working culture
• Work with very smart and humble people
• International work environment
• Opportunities to travel
