Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The development within the automotive industry is moving towards more electrification and assistant systems for both drivers and passengers. Here is a position for the individual interested in working with systems on the forefront of technology while getting a complete picture of electrified systems on bus.

Our team is responsible for cable harness design on buses. That responsibility begins with making of circuit diagrams and spans to the creation of purchasable parts (cable harnesses) that fulfills function and assembly/ de-assembly requirements in both production and the aftermarket.

Work assignments

The role requires meticulous work and analytical thinking. To be able to easily make contact and build networks with both system and component owners is a success factor for the individuals that work within the role today.

Within the team you will have the responsibility of a number of systems. This leads to you being the key point of contact for cross functional teams and the group for knowledge about how the system has been or will be implemented on bus, how the components are connected and how they communicate.

Your profile

You as a person are social, happy and positive. You like working in groups with a feeling of responsibility for your own deliveries. You believe that your deliveries are important and do not hesitate in taking help from others in order to finish the work on time. You are curious and always strive to learn more and develop. You master English both in written and verbal form. You have a bachelor's or master's degree (mechanical design, product development or electro) or similar work experience.

We offer

• a place in a friendly and competent work group with good collaboration
• developing and diversified tasks within an environment with a large professional network
• good product knowledge about buses and their various systems
• a chance to be a part of many of the exciting and interesting development projects at Scania.
