Main responsibilities
As a Development Engineer you will work at the Web Handling department within Development & Engineering/Packaging Material, responsible for web handling solutions for the converting lines including printing, lamination and finishing. The mission is to transport the packaging material through converting lines without incurring defects and losses. Your main responsibilities will be:
• Be expert in web handling with focus on web handling mechanics(calculate, modulate)
• Build and share web handling knowledge to the organization
• Deliver web handling solutions to Converting Line projects
• Proveide technical support for the Convering Factories
• Represent Web Handling department in internal and external forums and teams
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you should have a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics combined with a deep knowledge in web handling mechanics related paperboard, film or converting. You have preferably experience in applied research either at the university or within industries. Experience from tools like MatLab, LabView or Abaqus is an advantage. A very good command of English both written and spoken is required for the position.

You have great networking skills and an ability to work across borders. Furthermore you are innovative and communicative with an ability to gain commitment. You will need to see the advantages of sharing your knowledge and contribute strongly in teamwork.
