As part of the Development & Engineering (D&E) department, the D&E Packaging Material organization is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join our Web handling team. Our role is to develop and maintain web handling solutions for the converting lines including printing, lamination and finishing. Our mission is to transport the packaging material through converting lines without incurring defects and losses.
Main responsibilities
• Act as Project team member in development projects, being responsible for the web handling part
• Drive technical know-how activities, particularly related to web handling of thin materials
• Build and share web handling knowledge to the organization
• Provide technical support for the Converting Factories
• Represent Web Handling department in internal and external forums and teams
Publiceringsdatum2011-08-23KvalifikationerTo be successful in this position you need to be passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities. You are motivated by problem solving and interested in finding solutions for future packaging. You are a true team player and your communication style is open including a willingness to share information. Analytical reasoning and a structured way of working is a must.
You have an academic background with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics or equivalent. Experience from web handling, preferably thin materials and Six Sigma will be considered as a merit. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
