Who Are We?
The Transmission department is part of the Driveline & Electromobility organization in Eskilstuna. We develop transmissions and gearboxes for Volvo CE. The work is carried out in dedicated cross-functional teams, and we have fun while doing it. Manufacturing is done in our own factory in Eskilstuna.
Our transmissions are installed in Volvo CE premium equipment like Wheel loaders, Articulated haulers and Excavators. This applies, not only to conventional machines, but also to our upcoming range of electromobility machines. We believe in a diverse and creative workplace.
What we can offer
We believe that the Driveline & Electromobility organization has a big part in "building the world we want to live in" for our future generations. This is a journey filled with challenges, but also a lot of fun.
To secure competitive transmission platforms, we want to expand within the area of mechanical design. As a mechanical engineer, you are responsible for designing components or complete transmission systems in close cooperation with other engineers and our specialists. Together with our purchasing team, suppliers and our factory you bring the components "alive". We hope that you want to join us, and we would be happy to support you in your career and growth.
Who Are You?
an engineer with relevant university degree who has experience in mechanical design
you like teamwork
you are proficient in English and Swedish or is willing to learn
