Scania's R&D department is transforming to become part of TRATON Group R&D. TRATON is a group of strong brands with a shared mission: transforming transportation together to create the future of sustainable transport solutions. Within TRATON, we include MAN, Scania, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International. As part of a global team of industry experts, you get to think bigger, experience more, and reach further. Role Summary
Do you want to shape the future of electric vehicles and modular solutions? As a Component Owner, you'll lead the development of our VCB junction boxes and manage supplier collaboration. We are transitioning to agile workflows with a shared backlog and collective responsibility for success.

Who You Are
You are a collaborative, proactive team player with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation. You take ownership of your work, manage tasks independently, and thrive on challenges. Your strong interest in technology and structured approach help you prioritize effectively and switch between details and the bigger picture. You also bring:
• A degree in electrical engineering
• Experience with or understanding of electrical components
• Background in the automotive industry
• Experience with electric vehicles
• Interest in product development and documentation
• Strategic and tactical problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Scania experience (a merit)

This Is Us
We develop the VCB (Voltage Class B: 60V-1500V) power distribution systems for Scania's electrified vehicles, providing the hardware and architecture for charging and internal power connections. Our team of 20 includes design engineers, system owners, scrum masters, product owners, and safety managers. As we grow rapidly and expand international collaboration within the TRATON Group, we're improving both our products and how we work. You'll work closely with R&D, production, purchasing, service, and the end customer - all the way to the driver.
Within TRATON Group R&D, you are an important part of something bigger. Joining us means gaining access to the ins and outs of the entire transportation industry. As part of a global team of industry experts, you get to think bigger, experience more, and reach further. Being bigger also means being stronger. Together with our brands, we have the collective power to transform transportation.

We Offer
We offer a dynamic, flexible workplace with hybrid work options, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs.
