The railway plays an important role in today's increasing demands for environmental friendly, sustainable and reliable transportation. At Dellner R&D we are a team of 14 engineers enabling these requirements by introducing new solutions to the market.

You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to Development Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

• To work as a mechanical engineer, designing new products, conducting system and product related investigations/evaluations and validation of products and systems.
• Carry out product design on the basis of given requirements, specifications and company policy.
• You cooperate with other engineering teams and departments for example Sales Engineers, Procurement and Test.
• Ensure that the product is designed according to functional needs and is suitable for manufacturing and assembly.
• Participate to the continuous improvement of applied technical solutions and methods.

We assume that you
have a technical background with a minimum of 3 years' university degree and are well experienced in CAD, preferable Inventor and Vault. You have good knowledge in creating drawings, technical product descriptions and project reports. You also have experience in creating and analyzing technical concepts. Since we work closely with our colleagues around the world, it is important that you can speak and write well in English.

It 's a plus if you have a proven record in development of new technical solutions and preferable two years of experience working as an engineer. Knowledge and interest of electrical and digital products is also an advantage.

We assume you are a self-motivated and communicative person with a good technical understanding and analytical skills. You are team, service and result oriented with good interpersonal skills, have a positive and open attitude and good cooperation ability. Skilled to read and understand technical specifications, requirements, standards, patents etc. is also preferred.
