THE TEAM
The thermal camera R&D team is responsible for developing Axis thermal surveillance cameras, and related technology knowledge in this domain. Axis thermal cameras are based uncooled technology and designed for nonmilitary use
JOB DESCRIPTION
A thermal surveillance camera is efficient for object detection. The detection is done by algorithms analyzing the image stream and, for optimal result, the processed image data and the detection algorithm has to be optimized together. For this purpose, Axis thermal camera engineering team is searching for a new colleague who have proven knowledge in theory and practice of image processing and in addition, insights into algorithms useful for detecting objects and patterns in image data.
As a person, you are communicative, have a humorous mind, you like to toss around ideas and inspire your colleagues. To be competitive we need to be innovative, the team generates a number of patent applications every year and we want you to be an inspiring party in this. You don't mind taking the role as an educator of customers and colleagues.
You are used to work in a Linux environment with Python, C, and Octave or similar. You are fluent in writing and speaking English and at least in speaking Swedish.
