The diagnostic teams in the department Propulsion Controls & Calibration are involved early in the development of new powertrain concepts. It is a large challenge to develop solutions which both meet legal requirements and have maximum robustness not causing customer disturbances. The teams are responsible for development of system solutions, functional design and verification in full-scale test cars. We realise our ideas through the development of functionality software in a number of embedded control systems.

The group Powertrain "Diagnostics Transmission" is responsible for diagnostics in transmission related ECU 's (Automatic Transmission, Gear Shift Module, AWD and Shift-by-wire). Our delivery consists of software functionality that identifies inaccuracies, prevents critical events and mitigates the effect of a fault. What you'll do

* Handle requirements put on the Transmission OBD system

* Support ESOW work in early phases

* Participate in supplier meetings securing the complete diagnostic delivery.

* Analyse data from testing

Do you fit the profile?

* Master of Science or equivalent documented education/experience.

* Skilled engineer with more than 3 years of experience from working SW

* Knowledge of transmissions and possible fault modes

* Driving license

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and has a positive attitude. You should also be structured, able to present your work and cooperate well with your team.
