We are now looking for more friends to join our R&D Department in Gothenburg!
What you will do
As a Development Engineer within the field of semiconductor packaging, you and your R&D team, has a responsibility to provide the sensitive sensor die with a robust and reliable electromechanical interface. Compared to traditional IC packaging we have high requirements on customized outline and functional surface properties. Package types range from standardized wire bonding devices to advanced 3D solutions based on TSV. This role is specifically focused towards sensor package development, aimed for smartcard integration.
Tasks can range from proposing new package solutions, analyzing reliability, selecting materials, optimizing assembly flow on site together with one of our manufacturing partners, or filing patents for new inventions.
Who you are
• You are a true team player with a positive and open mind-set
• You are curious and open to learn new things
• You bring your ideas and willingly share your knowledge with others
• You have a technical education, such as Master or Bachelor in electronics, physics or the equivalent
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and are willing to travel abroad
• You have previous experience from development projects for hardware products in electronics
• Relevant occupational experience from smartcard related technology, or a similar field, is advantageous
• Prior involvement with subcontractors, domestic or international, is also valuable
We expect you to have a strong personal drive and an ability to work independently, as well as collaborate well with your colleagues within and outside your department.
