hela Sverige We are looking for a person interested in Product Development and Testing tasks within quality improvement projects. You have ambitions and energy to develop yourself and the company in a way that later will lead to new tasks and responsibility. As a person you enjoy working in a team and have the ability to inspire your team colleagues and feeling engaged by goal settings. Since the job consists of an extensive net of contacts both internally and externally your networking skills should be very good and prioritized
Within this position you will be working with quality improvement testing tasks on Marine- and Industrial products developed by Volvo Penta. You will work within a team but perform your work with a high level of independency, together with the project manager for quality improvement you will execute testing tasks on components, complete engine or drive line level.
To perform the work you need both a level of experience in the field of Diesel Engines as well as creativity in resolving issues and finding solutions to intricate problems.
The work mainly involves following tasks:
• Together with the Project Manager Testing, plan resources such as rig infrastructure, workshop technicians, material and test equipment
• Support in fault tracing activities, inhosue and on the field
• Support in the measurement set up on test objects
• Execute testing of quality improvement solutions
• Reporting of the results and findings

We think that suitable qualifications for the positions involve some of the following:
• You like to work hands-on with technical problems and have an analytical mind
• Experience of diesel engine development and testing or similar experience is desired
• You probably have an Engineering Degree in mechanical engineering alternatively electrical engineering or similar
• Experience of diesel engine calibration and optimization is a plus
• As a person you are structured and well organized. You enjoy working in teams and have the ability to work with several parallel tasks and functions, such as projects, customers, OEM 's, workshops etc.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
