We are looking for the new technical owner of our Profile Gauging capabilities used in coating & lamination of our packaging material structures.

Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Performance (SCO IBP) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join the Production Systems team as the technical system owner of our Profile Gauging capabilities.
You will act as the link between our converting factories, the central SCO IBP organization and our profile gauging supplier. You will be involved in development projects, problem solving activities as well as supporting our factories.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the rest of the team around all In-Line quality systems.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 25% of travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Own and drive the technical agenda of Tetra Pak profile gauging capability and its interfaces
• Act as Profile Gauging systems integrator within the Coating process
• Own the technical system interfaces (automation, mechanical)
• Translate functional requirements to technical requirements for profile gauging at Tetra Pak
• Drive standardization in our factories
• Define operator training
• Scout and monitor developments within Profile Gauging area.
• Drive continuous improvement activities together with supplier
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe that you have a university degree in Engineering (preferably within Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Chemical Engineering). The position requires 5 to 10 years of work experience including experience from working with IR and Beta gauges. Extrusion coating and Tetra Pak converting experience or similar is seen as an advantage.
We are looking for a person who can work proactively with both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and interact with people in a professional way. You are a self-starter and know how to organize people and activities. You drive for results and are passionate about understanding and managing high speed dynamic systems. You have an understanding of system interactions and how they impact our value chain, particularly on converting process and packaging material.
A good command of English, both written and oral is required.
