The mission of the Prepress & Printing group within Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Performance (SCO-IBP) is to continuously develop our Industrial Base, strengthening the capabilities while securing our position as the lowest cost producer. This includes developing and deploying solutions to increase quality, reliability, flexibility and productivity for our full graphic chain from digital file to printed packaging material.
Pre Press & Printing group has the responsibility to develop and maintain Pre Press & Printing specifications. We are the global owner of the Tetra Pak equipment and process specifications for Pre Press & Printing. Our role is to provide competence, delivering Pre Press & Printing solutions within all our projects, ranging from package development through to process and equipment development and to installation projects. We are also responsible for our Specification Maintenance program, always securing our specifications are up to date and available for all users.
In this position, you are reporting to the Development Manager for Prepress & Printing.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and will require travelling up to 25%.
Main responsibilities
• Build and share leading knowledge in one or more specific competence areas of Printing Technology.
• Translate market and technical needs into well-defined requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions based on the requirements.
• Analyze design, verify and validate in accordance with our global working processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have a strong personal drive with the ability to meet set targets and you have a passion for printing technology and development activities. It's key that you have a creative mind with a strong interest of analyzing technical challenges and come up with innovative solutions. You are a passionate team player and realize the importance of sharing your knowledge within the team. Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different people and cultures are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.
You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Printing/ Paper technology or Material converting or similar experience in the area. Your English skills are excellent, both written and spoken.
