Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Development Engineer NVH
Description
You will be part of the NVH Engineering Team within Vehicle Integration & Testing organization. Specific areas within NVH that will be subjected to special interest amongst the applications are Acoustic Isolation, Wind Noise, Electric motors, System- and Customer actuated Component Noise and Psycho Acoustics (in that order). All of them are individually very important to give a vehicle a high level of quality feel, especially in an electric vehicle.
We are looking for a person who wants to work in a Laboratory environment as a general NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) engineer reinforcing a number of competence areas within automotive NVH. Responsibilities include, among other things:
• To be responsible for target setting and validation for the actual competence areas.
• To take active part in investigating N&V issues and to develop and evaluate solutions to these issues in close cooperation with design and other testing departments.
• To assist the production site in N&V related issues.
• Work cross functional in the company and also work with external assignments
• Contribute with input in all needed Integration work
• Anchor test results, development and status with responsible development engineers
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience within NVH development in Automotive Business, minimum 5 years
• Hands-on- and theoretical knowledge and experience in the actual automotive N&V-area
• Knowledge of remedies and relevant solutions in the actual automotive N&V-area
• Relevant experience and skills for performing and evaluating N&V tests
• Experience in working with internal and external contacts
• It is an advantage if you have a knowledge in the area of Acoustic isolation, Wind Noise, Electric motors, Psycho Acoustics or System- and Customer actuated Component Noise
• Driver license B
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
