Our R&D Department needs reinforcement so we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our great team. You will be a core team member in our new product development projects. You will be responsible for mechanical design from specification to verification and transfer to production. You will work closely with other departments such as Operations, RA/QA, Sales and Marketing.
The position requires structured work and documentation according to standards.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

Taking a lead role of mechanical development in projects
Working in cross-functional teams
Creating and sustaining manufacturing documents (CAD)
Creating prototypes with internal and external resources
Verification of design
Drive improvements and innovation
Qualifications

MSc in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of Plastic materials and their mechanical properties
Experience of high precision injection molded plastics
Experience from new product development
Knowledge of CAD tools, preferably Creo.
Experience of working within Medical Device Industry is a merit
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing are essential.
