Are you ready for a new challenge and to add value within Tetra Pak Processing Components?
The department Technical Product Management Homogenizers at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Development Engineer to work in our Product Creation and Product Life Cycle processes.
The brand name for our portfolio of homogenizers and high pressure pumps for liquid food is Tetra Pak Homogenizers. Homogenization is a process that effectively reduces the size of solid particles and liquid fat globules, improving the quality and stability of the treated product. Tetra Pak Homogenizer & high pressure pumps are specially designed for food applications.
As a Development Engineer you will work independently with development activities and technical investigations. You will also participate in our development projects as well as product maintenance activities and technical support for our existing machines.
You will work in a dynamic organisation where you will have close contact between development, production, supply chain, marketing and technical support.
Main responsibilities
• Initiate and start up important and crucial
development activities.
• Drive and initiate industrial- and mechanical design activities.
• Manage Technical Investigations and support.
• Perform simulations and Mechanical design in Creo.
• Planning, execution and evaluation of tests in laboratory environment and at field tests.
Qualifications
The successful candidate possesses a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably combined with 3-5 years of work life experience from mechanical design and development.
Fluency in English, both oral and written is mandatory.
As a person you are independent and can drive your own work forward. You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you a high level of problem solving. It is natural for you to set up your own time plans and drive your work to closure in an organized/systematic way. You are a team player and able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a supportive way.
The position is based in Lund and includes 5-10% travelling.
